GazeTorch.
GazeTorch brings a remote helper’s gaze into video-supported physical tasks, using a spotlight to show the worker which object their partner is looking at. It explores gaze as a practical cue for coordinating hands-on work at a distance.

The work
GazeTorch turns a remote helper’s gaze into a visible spotlight during physical tasks. This makes the object of attention explicit, exploring gaze as a shared reference for coordinating hands-on work rather than as a private input signal.
My role: Co-author of the gaze-supported remote-assistance research.
