Accuracy of Interpreting Pointing Gestures.
Examines how accurately a remote observer can interpret pointing gestures from a first-person camera view. The work focuses on the perspective mismatch between the person pointing and the person watching—a key challenge for remote collaboration.

The work
This study examines the perspective mismatch between a person pointing and someone interpreting that gesture through a first-person camera. It focuses on the accuracy of a common remote-assistance cue, informing how interfaces communicate references to physical objects.
My role: Co-author of the pointing-gesture interpretation study.
