    Embodied interaction / 2019–2020

    VR & haptics.

Explores gaze as a pointer for virtual-reality interaction, paired with hand movement or dwell to select targets and force feedback to make spatial interaction tangible. The studies test ways to navigate and interact without relying on hand movement for every action.

    The work

These studies examine how gaze, hand movement, dwell, and force feedback can be combined for spatial interaction. The contribution is a comparison of interaction techniques that reduce reliance on continuous hand pointing while preserving ways to select targets and feel spatial feedback.

My role: Co-author of the gaze-interaction and haptics research.
